Dear Potential Vendor:
We recognize the fact that it is the vendors who make an event special. We had a wonderful group of vendors for our 11th annual Big Bear Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering. We're inviting you to join them and us as a vendor for our 12th annual Gathering which will be held August 19, 20 and 21, 2011, at the beautiful state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center in Big Bear Lake, California.
The enormous pines and open, rustic grounds just to the West of the building parking lot are the perfect outdoor setting for an outdoor venue featuring entertainment, food and activities for all ages. There will be a wide variety of vendors inside and out. Close to the main highway going to Big Bear Lake, this venue will be seen by thousands of visitors as they drive into and around our valley during the weekend.
The popular indoor performances, which have traditionally drawn big crowds to the Performing Arts Center, will be on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. There are free outside performances and admission to the vendor’s areas is free.
Enclosed is an application for our 12th annual Big Bear Cowboy Poetry & Music Gathering, together with a waiver. Inside vendors may begin setting up any time at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) after noon on Friday, August 20th, and outside vendors may begin setting up at the PAC any time after 10AM on Friday, the 20th. Please call if you need to make other arrangements. There will be overnight on-site security and electricity will be available to each space for no additional charge.
Our website for 2011 is up and running and we’d like to get your application in as soon as possible so that we may list you as a vendor on our site.
